Design proposal revision is ongoing.
New generator design: Copper wire coil will be placed inside of the magnets instead of surrounding them as in the initial design to make it easier to control and calculate. New design is like the figure below.

For the mechanical system, small rubber wheel is decided to be attached on the bike wheel. The rotation of small wheel will be driven by the big bike wheel. Meanwhile, it will cause the rotation of magnets so that the magnetic environment of the coil between them will keep changing, which will generate AC.

Generator improvement: More voltage is needed so the generator will be extended. A second generator is added to the design on the opposite side of the bike to balance weight and double voltage generated. Also, the diameter of the wheel is decided to be 5 cm to make the angular velocity of the wheel to be about 100 rad/s when the bike speed is 5 m/s.
